Isaiah 12:4-5 – Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. 5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.
Thanksgiving is usually a time when family and friends come together. In some cases many family members don’t see one another until the holiday season roll around. What better time can we think of for the chance to express and exhibit God’s love and presence in your life?
This is the time for us, the believers in Christ Jesus, to tell an unsaved family member about the precious gift of Salvation offered through Jesus. This is a time when your family members and friends will be watching you to see if they can see this Jesus that so many have heard about, but perhaps never experienced.
So let Jesus shine through from your heart. Just like salt makes the turkey taste batter, be the salt in this holiday season, sprinkling here and there in hopes of making someone’s life better through Jesus our Lord.
