Matthew 14:14 – When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

Jesus CaresCompassion. What is compassion? Webster’s® online dictionary defines compassion as sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it.

A better definition of compassion is Jesus.

In Jesus we find sympathy, concern, awareness and a desire to help us through all our problems, no matter how big or how serious these problems are. Jesus is concerned about our health, where we live, our safety, our needs, He’s concerned about every area of our lives. Jesus came to a multitude of people and was moved with compassion when He saw the lives of the multitude. He healed many people who were sick. And then He fed them all.

To this day, Jesus is just as concerned for you as He was concerned about the multitude back then. You don’t have to wonder if He loves you because He is a man who’s love never diminishes or withheld from you. His love and compassion for us never grows cold! He is concerned for our well being and He is concerned for our souls. He wants to save you. Won’t you accept Him today, right now?
